014 Cantilever Beam Lateral Torsional Post-Buckling

A 2 meters cantilever is subjected to a force at its tip applied to its top flange. The profile of IPE240 is assumed to be the designed beam made of steel grade S235JR.

1. With RFEM software, determine the lateral torsional buckling load.
2. Assume the applied load is 75kN. Sketch the lateral deformation of the node to which the load is applied for post-buckling of the beam.
